Minnesota Soybean Processors

In January of 2002 Ag Ventures facilitated a series of meetings in which Minnesota Soybean Processors (MnSP) representatives shared information about their project. MnSP is a group focusing on returning a greater share of the market dollar to the producer through the construction of a 100,000 bushel per day soybean processing facility near Brewster Minnesota. Their membership includes soybean growers in Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota. They have a management agreement with South Dakota Soybean Processors (SDSP). SDSP currently operates a profitable soybean processing plant in Volga South Dakota.
